From Bucharest:

If have to sleep one night in Bucharest please contact the transport manager.

As last year, we will have the same house open for you and it’s next to Otopeni Airport. You’ll also
be assisted with the transfer to the train station.

Temperature can average a maximum of 23C / 73.4F
Take lots of sunscreen, but also your umbrella, weather can change very fast around here.

Party time:

Thursday night: welcome party TBA

Friday night : Medieval Party II : we continue what we started last year : we’ll visit the old city of Sighisoara, with medieval outfits and, sooner or later, we’ll meet again the dance professor who will teach us authentic medieval dances.

Gala night (fancy dress, to impress)

We’ll have it together : SRNC, FEI, EVENTING

Before the event:

Please contact transport manager and you’ll have our support regarding accommodation, transfers,
places to visit & s.o.

No matter where you’re landing we’ll try to fix for you free accommodation

After the event:

We’re still working on this one, but we were thinking to organise a day trip to the mountains on the
way to Bucharest and visit the ruins of a fortress of the legendary Vlad Dracul aka Dracula. The
fortress is on a rock and there will be 1500 steps to climb , cost TBA

If 2nd/3rd extra day after event:

By end of the 1st day trip sleep in hay at some locals, next day return to the farm, long rides at the
farm (2-5 hour/limited no.of riders/horses), discover wild Transylvanian forests, hills and the way
of life, on horseback; cost TBA

Other info:

If you’ll feel like swimming, there is a little lake just 10 mins away from the accommodation.

There is a shop in front of the accommodation, open 7 a.m. to 12.p.m. where you can buy all sorts
of stuff for a very reasonable price.

Currency in Romania is RON


Exchange houses and banks can be found everywhere. Changing EURO/GBP/USD will not be a
problem. Exchange rates can be checked here.
